Albertus Burink, 72, of 909 W. 51st St., a retired painter, died Thursday in a hospital after a year's illness.
Funeral services will be held at 7 o'clock tonight in the Clark-Rafferty chapel, followed by cremation.
Mr. Burink had lived in Wallingford 33 years. He was born in Amsterdam, Holland, and immigrated to the United States in 1906. He lived in Chicago before coming here in 1916. He was a member of the Painters' Union.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; four sons, Albert and Fred Burink, both of Seattle, Capt John Burink, Air Force, Houston, Tex., and William Burink, Oakland, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Ann Lobberegt, Seattle, Mrs. Geraldine Gandy, Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. Henrietta Halffman, Seabeck, Kitsap County, 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Albertus married Anna Jacqueline van Senus (Sanus) on 27 Sep 1905 in Amsterdam. Anna (daughter of Abraham Frederik Christiaan van Senus and Henderika Melchior) was born on 12 Dec 1883 in Amsterdam; died on 29 Dec 1960 in Seattle, Washington, United States of America. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
