    • Vice Admiral Robert Duff of Fetteresso was born in 1721. He was the son of Patrick Duff and Mary Urquhart.

      He married his first cousin once removed Helen Duff in 1764.

      Following Helen's death, he married his widowed first cousin once removed Jean Morison (nee Abercromby on the 8th of November, 1781. They had no children together, but she raised the four children of his first marriage. Jean was also a first cousin to Robert's first wife, Helen.

      He died in 1787. Vice admiral of the red.
