    • Treon Goossen, 61, went home to Jesus Monday, May 9, 2016 in Colorado Springs. Her loved ones surrounded her as she went joyfully into the arms of her Savior.

She was born July 28, 1954 in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas.

She was a daughter of God who inspired others through her strong faith and ministry. Tirelessly advocating for freedom and rights of families in Colorado, she will be honored and remembered as a fighter. Her legacy of love and warm generosity leaves behind many who will forever think of her as their adopted mom.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Goossen, Sr.; seven children, Dean Goossen Jr, Jesse Goossen, Giselle Goossen, Charissa Treon Goossen, Ian Goossen, Sophia Renata Goossen, and Petra Steline Nott; eight grandchildren, Miranda, Jody, Ethan, Wesley, Lincoln, and Curtis Goossen, and Joash, and Judah Nott; two brothers, Mark and Jon Patterson; and five sisters, Denise Baker, Jo Susan Leverich, and Dena Vogelpohl.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at Calvary Chapel Eastside.
