      Volgens haar overlijdensakte was Aaltje Dirks 53 jaar oud, weduwe, zonder beroep. Ze overleed ten huize van haar zuster op de buurt Emmeloord, nr. 3. De aangifte werd gedaan door de 56-jarige aannemer Bernardus van Kleef, en de 24-jarige chirurgijn Martinus van Kleef, nabij wonende geburen.
      In de overlijdenakte van haar dochter Catharina in 1858 wordt ze genoemd: Alijda Dirks Grote.
