    • Volgens het doopboek van Emmeloord zou Antonius Grootje op 8-2-1838 geboren zijn, wat niet juist is. Doopgetuige: Eva Cornelissen Grootje.
      Volgens zijn overlijdensakte was Theunis Grootjen 26 jaar oud, geboren op Schokland, wonende in Kampen, visser, gehuwd met Jannetje Visscher, zoon van de visser Jan Cornelis Grootjen en Aaltje Theunis Gertsen. Hij overleed in Kampen, Hofstraat, wijk 4, nr. 186. Aangifte werd gedaan door de 35-jarige aanspreker Jacobus Marinus de Wolf en de 38-jarige arbeider Jacobus Koek, beiden wonende in Kampen en onverwant.
