    • Dubbel, zoon van de 49-jarige visser Jan Cornelis Grootjen en Aaltje Theunis Gertsen, werd geboren op Schokland. Aangifte werd gedaan door de vader, bijgestaan door de 55-jarige deurwaarder, en de 38-jarige visser Jan Klaasen Konter, beiden wonende op Schokland.
      Volgens het r.k. doopboek van Schokland is hij gedoopt op 15-12-1844, maar die datum moet onjuist zijn. Doopgetuige: Albertus Florissen Toeter.
      Dubbel Grootjen is in 1863 ingeschreven voor de Nationale Militie voor de lichting voor het jaar 1864. Hij lootte nr. 130, waardoor hij niet in dienst hoefde (huwelijksbijlage 1874).
      Volgens zijn overlijdensakte was Dubbel Grootjen 74 jaar oud, visser, geboren op Schokland en wonende in Kampen, weduwnaar van Jans Alberts Goosem, zoon van Jan Cornelis Grootjen en Aaltje Theunis Gertsen, beiden overleden. Aangifte werd gedaan door de 39-jarige aanspreker Bruin Karel, en de 41-jarige gemeentebode Lammert Veldkamp, beiden wonende te Kampen.
